The O’Keefe Music Foundation is a nonprofit 501©(3) that provides free services such as lessons, camps, recording sessions, and music videos to young musicians from all around the world. I have been marginally involved with the foundation for a few years, occasionally appearing as a background extra in a music video and once even participating in an extreme hot sauce challenge for a promotional video. More recently, I was given the title of Production Manager. In this role, I have accompanied the team on several shoots, working as a photographer, helping manage recording equipment, and assisting with the setup and teardown of equipment. This position has been a blast, and it is a great honor to work with these talented young musicians and play even a small part in such an amazing foundation.
